MCM LONDON COMIC CON – EXCEL LONDON – 24-26 MAY

Splinter Cell Blacklist, Commander Shepard & Lara Croft to Headline London Comic Con Games Stage

X360A & PS3T announce the first of their Games Stage line-ups for this month’s MCM London Comic Con.

Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell Blacklist, and voice actors Mark Meer (Commander Shepard) and Camilla Luddington (Lara Croft) are to headline the Games Stage at the MCM London Comic Con later this month, stage organisers Xbox360Achievements.org (X360A) and PS3Trophies.org (PS3T) have announced.

Held on 24-26 May at ExCel London, the MCM London Comic Con – Europe's equivalent to the San Diego Comic Con – last year welcomed over 70,000 visitors through its doors, with the Games Stage live stream reaching an additional 40,000 people.

“We’re very excited to welcome Ubisoft back to the Games Stage again this year after last year’s successful Assassin’s Creed III demos,” said Dan Webb, Editor-in-Chief of X360A and PS3T. “We’ve got some cool stuff lined up with Splinter Cell Blacklist and we’re excited to give fans a chance to see the game before its August release.”

Mark Meer, who rose to fame with his performance as Commander Shepard in the Mass Effect trilogy, and Camilla Luddington (True Blood, Grey's Anatomy), who plays iconic heroine Lara Croft in the new Tomb Raider, will also join X360A and PS3T on stage for some fun and games at the show.

“Mark has essentially become a household name in video game circles since his stunning performance as Commander Shepard in the Mass Effect trilogy, while Camilla did a stunning job with Lara in the new reboot,” commented Webb. “It’s a privilege and an honour to welcome them both onto our stage at the end of the month. At least now, we might be able to find out which store really was Shepard’s favourite on the Citadel!”

X360A and PS3T will also welcome Capcom back onto the Games Stage, with Capcom Producer Mat Hart on hand show to off their latest IP, Remember Me.

That's not all though; Lost Planet 3 and Resident Evil: Revelations will also make an appearance, as will Metro: Last Light, with 4A Games’ Huw Beynon taking to the stage to show off the game and answer audience questions. Look out for more exciting announcements in the coming weeks!
