Today, Ubisoft announced the launch of Watch Dogs’ WeareData, an experiential website designed to gather and graph the publicly available data that govern people’s lives in a single location. WeareData is initially available for the cities of Berlin, London and Paris.

In Watch Dogs, the highly anticipated open world action game from Ubisoft, the fictionalized city of Chicago is run by a Central Operating System (CTOS), linking all of the city’s online infrastructures and public security installations to one centralized hub. Information is at the heart of the game and also at the heart of WeareData.

With WeareData, visitors will discover that much of the hyper-connected world imagined in Watch Dogs already is a reality, and that everything and everyone is truly connected. The amount of and potential uses for public and personal information that is readily available online has never been more relevant, as evidenced by today’s headlines. WeareData is designed to provide a glimpse into this reality and to give visitors a new perspective on the cities in which they live.

Watch Dogs’ WeareData allows users to access the real-time data that organize and help run the cities of Berlin, London and Paris, as well current information on their inhabitants. Via a 3D mapping system, the consolidated, openly available information that can be easily viewed includes public transport schedules (such as subways and public bicycles), telecommunications networks (including mobile antennas, WiFi spots and advertising networks), energy consumption, traffic and safety infrastructure (like CCTV cameras and traffic lights) and regionalized socioeconomic data (such as average net income, unemployment rate and crime rate).  Also available are geo-localized social media activities for the cities’ residents, including their public posts on Facebook, Foursquare, Instagram and Twitter.

To discover the website please visithttp://wearedata.watchdogs.com/ via any Internet browser, even on smartphones and tablets.

Watch Dogs will hit store shelves on November 22 on PlayStation®3, Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, the Wii U™ system from Nintendo and Windows PC, and will be available around launch on PlayStation®4 and Xbox One.

CALL OF DUTY®: GHOSTS UPS THE ANTE WITH ALL-NEW DOWNLOADABLE BONUS MAP AVAILABLE WITH PRE-ORDER

Activision Shares New Multiplayer Information on
Next Generation of Call of Duty®

Dynamic Map “Free Fall” Delivers New Multiplayer Experience
As Players Encounter Constantly Changing Environment

The franchise that has defined a generation of gaming, and the one set to raise the bar yet again on the 5th of November, is delivering a compelling, all-new pre-order incentive for Call of Duty: Ghosts’highly anticipated multiplayer mode.  Available exclusively at GAME in the UK and Gamestop in Ireland, fans that pre-order the game will receive the Free Fall downloadable bonus map that features the new dynamic map event mechanic, included with their copy of the game at launch.  Free Fall ushers in the first details on how players will encounter the changing environments in the leading multiplayer experience on consoles.

As an example of just one of Call of Duty: Ghosts’ new dynamic map events, Free Fall drops players into a shattered skyscraper on the brink of collapse. Sideways staircases climb into the night sky, elevator shafts run along the ground, and what were once windows now form a terrifying glass floor, hundreds of feet above the city streets.  Free Fall’s close-quarters combat and frenetic action are then thrown into overdrive as the ruined skyscraper continues to fall throughout the match. With every drop, the accompanying shockwaves cause further destruction, disrupting sightlines and constantly evolving paths and chokepoints as the map changes in real-time.

"Dynamic map events change the way players approach the game, and Free Fall does a great job illustrating this new mechanic,” said Mark Rubin, executive producer at Infinity Ward. “As the match progresses, the geometry of the world continues to change and players need to adjust on the fly or else.  It’s a really fun new feature that adds layers of strategy and constantly evolving gameplay options for players.  And this is just one of the many new approaches we’re putting into Ghosts’ multiplayer across the board.  There’s so much more that we look forward to sharing in the weeks to come."

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows Leonardo Video and Images

As Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows prepares to launch this summer for Xbox LIVE Arcade as a part of Microsoft’s Summer of Arcade, the PlayStation Network and PC via Steam, Activision Publishing, Inc. and Red Fly Studio are shining a light on each of the varied personas that make up this formidable team of heroes in a half-shell. This trailer goes behind the blue bandana of the Turtle-in-chief: Leonardo.

The oldest brother, Leonardo is the leader of the four Turtles – an accomplished tactician possessing a discipline and focus as sharp as his blades. His selfless sense of responsibility for the family sometimes puts him at odds with the headstrong Raphael, who too often only thinks of himself.

With a katana in each hand, Leo is the most well-rounded fighter in the Turtle roster, balanced by an unwavering dedication to his training. He is without a standout strength or glaring weakness, defined by a general aptitude for speed, reach, damage, and reactiveness, making him the easiest for novice players to pick up and play. For his unique weapon upgrade, Leo joins his twin katanas together at the hilt, forming a twisting Blade Staff.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows launching this summer!
(Also, A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows Pic Pack, featuring all four Turtles and Shredder, is now available on Xbox LIVE Arcade for 80 Microsoft points).
