Today, Ubisoft^® announced that Rayman^® Legends Definitive Edition is now available for the Nintendo Switch. Players who want to get a sneak peek at the latest iteration of the critically acclaimed platformer can do so by checking out the free demo, also available now on the Nintendo eShop.

Rayman, previously named platformer of the year and winner of multiple artistic and musical achievements, comes to the Nintendo Switch for the first time with Rayman Legends Definitive Edition. Rayman Legends Definitive Edition allows up to four players to play in co-op, and offers an exclusive wireless local multiplayer experience in Kung Foot mode. With the Nintendo Switch device undocked, players can use the touch screen to take out enemies, manipulate platforms, cut ropes and much more, anywhere, anytime, in both solo and multiplayer.

Set in the enchanted world of Rayman, the game follows Rayman and his colourful band of friends as they discover a mysterious tent filled with a series of captivating paintings. The gang must run, jump, and fight their way through each world to save the day and discover the secrets of every legendary painting.

GROW, EVOLVE AND BATTLE FOR DOMINANCE IN NEW UBISOFT^®GAME ATOMEGA^TM

Today, Ubisoft^®  announced Atomega^TM, a new online multiplayer FPS available on September 19^th, 2017 on Steam. Developed by Reflections, a Ubisoft studio, in the same small incubator which created Grow Home^TMand Grow Up, Atomega was made with a creatively experimental mind-set, deliberately seeking to create unusual concepts which will surprise and delight players. 

Atomega takes place at the very end of time where reality is rapidly dissolving. All that exists are Exoforms, super advanced post-biological lifeforms, masters of matter, energy and the last distant relative to man and machine. As the laws of physics slowly repeal, the Exoforms fight for fun and dominance, replaying the final moments of the universe in an arena at the edge of destruction.

The player must acquire mass, by peacefully collecting it or via firefights, to evolve his Exoform from the nimble Atom to the godlike Omega. Competing for mass, players engage in a frantic battle for supremacy through intense 10-minute rounds, gathering up to eight players. Acquiring mass also grants points and the player with the most points at the end of the round wins. It is a relentlessly competitive experience, an easy to pick-up but hard to master game, with a light-hearted tone echoing the personality of its small development team.

Atomega will be available digitally worldwide on Steam on September 19^th, 2017.

JUST DANCE^® 2018 REVEALS THE NEW KIDS’ MODE

AND A NEW DISNEY SONG TO DANCE TO

8 KIDS CHOREOGRAPHIES AND “HOW FAR I’LL GO” FROM DISNEY’S MOANA ADDED TO THE LINE UP 

Today, Ubisoft^® reveals details on the new Kids’ Mode for Just Dance^® 2018, the latest installment of the best-selling* music game franchise of all time. With this brand new mode, Just Dance^® 2018 offers parents an opportunity to let their young children play in a kid-friendly environment. Thanks to a tailored interface, scoring, choreographies and special characters, kids will be able to enjoy the game in complete autonomy, with positive and supportive feedback.

Just Dance has always been a family favourite. With Just Dance^® 2018, Ubisoft have created a dedicated mode for the youngest to play in collaboration with the help of two child development experts: Martine Curtat-Cadet, childrens’ choreography expert, and Cristina Do Carmo De Sousa Gomes, childrens’ concept artist. Kids’ Mode has been developed to be beneficial for kids’ motor development, with a design completely adapted to this specific audience. 

As Curtat-Cadet explains: “Children aged between three and six quite often have difficulties reproducing fast and complex movements. The steps we have developed in these choreographies are associated with intentions that correspond to action verbs like running, climbing, flying, catching. Inevitably the child will learn and will integrate the choreographies naturally and not by imitation. Additionally, dancing really helps children to acquire scholarly skills like writing, reading and art as well.”

As a result, eight songs have been choreographed for kids to encourage healthy movement. The choreographies are much easier than the traditional Just Dance songs and children can really identify with characters and universes, such as embodying a fearless pirate on the deck of a ship; a supergirl off to save the world; a funky robot; a magical Halloween experience, and lots more.

The game’s interface, in this mode, has also been simplified with less text and a continuous and random play mode that parents can decide to activate. The scoring system was adapted too, in order to make it more generous and positive, for children to feel encouraged as they dance.

Finally, for young and old alike, Just Dance 2018’s main mode will include “How Far I’ll Go” from Disney’s hit animated fantasy-adventure feature Moana , produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Just Dance 2018 will be available on all motion-control gaming platforms, including Nintendo Switch™, Wii U™, Wii™,  Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation^®4 computer entertainment system, and PlayStation^®3 computer entertainment system on October 26^th, 2017.

Middle-earth™: Shadow of War™ NEW Dark Tribe Trailer Revealed

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today released a NEW trailer for Middle-earth™: Shadow of War™, spotlighting the Dark tribe, a group of Orcs who utilise stealth and assassination to dominate Mordor on behalf of the Lord of Mordor, whom they have a fanatical reverence for. In Shadow of War™, Orcs now belong to tribes, which extend their influence stemming from the Overlords ruling the mighty fortresses throughout the open world, providing a rich ecosystem of missions, exploration and a dynamic Orc society with diverse Orc cultures, all brought to life through the expanded Nemesis System. Adept at ambushes, double-crosses and battlefield trickery, the Dark tribe wields power beyond what their numbers would suggest, favouring treachery and betrayal to get the job done. 

Set between the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, Middle-earth™: Shadow of War™ is an open world action RPG that continues the original narrative of Middle-earth™: Shadow of Mordor™. NAMCO MUSEUM™ RETRO GAME COLLECTION WILL BE AVAILABLE TOMORROW ON NINTENDO SWITCH™

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe announces that NAMCO MUSEUM™ will be available from tomorrow in Europe and Australasia via the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch™. NAMCO MUSEUM is a classic games compilation featuring arcade favourites including PAC-MAN™, Dig Dug™, Galaga™, Galaga™ ‘88, The Tower of Druaga™, Rolling Thunder™, Rolling Thunder™ 2, Sky Kid™, Splatterhouse™ and Tank Force™. The collection also incorporates PAC-MAN™ VS., a four-player game based on the PAC-MAN series originally created by Toru Iwatani. Nintendo developed PAC-MAN VS. in 2003 under the supervision of legendary game designer, Shigeru Miyamoto.

With NAMCO MUSEUM, Nintendo Switch gamers can relive the glory days of coin-operated arcade games anytime or anywhere. For arcade game masters, the retro titles (excluding PAC-MAN VS.) support an online ranking system, allowing them to view their standing amongst the top gamers around the world. Players nostalgic for the classic coin-op era can transform their Nintendo Switch into a miniature arcade cabinet by turning the handheld console vertically for a taller, slimmer screen that replicates the original arcade experience.

In PAC-MAN VS., three players work together as the iconic ghosts and hunt down the fourth player who has taken on the role of PAC-MAN, as they evade the ghosts and clear the maze of Pac Dots. Two Switch units are required to play as up to three ghosts play on one console and the PAC-MAN character plays on the other. A free downloadable app will be available via the Nintendo eShop that enables 1-3 players to join a multiplayer session of PAC-MAN VS. hosted by a Nintendo Switch system, allowing for full multiplayer sessions using two Switch consoles and one copy of the full game.

F1™ 2017 – BORN TO... MAKE HISTORY
NEW GAMEPLAY TRAILER SHOWCASES F1 2017’S STUNNING LINEUP OF CURRENT AND ICONIC CARS

With the imminent launch of F1™ 2017, the official videogame of the 2017 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP™, Codemasters and Koch Media have today released the latest gameplay trailer ( See below ) which showcases how the game spans the history of the sport and highlights several new features. F1 2017 not only allows players to drive the latest cars on the grid but also gives them access to 12* iconic classics.

F1 2017 releases onto PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and Windows PC (DVD and via Steam) worldwide on August 25th and the new gameplay trailer can be viewed on the game's official YouTube channel: youtube.com/formula1game.

As well as the mixture of the thrilling new and nostalgic cars, keen observers will notice that players can now race the iconic street circuit in Monaco at night for the first time in the series.

Lee Mather, Creative Director, says: “We know our fans have loved seeing the classic cars being revealed in the recent weeks, but we know they also want to see the new cars in action as well. The 2017 cars present their own unique challenge as they are incredibly fast but wider and heavier than before, therefore we have had to completely rework the physics system to refine the balance between aerodynamics and tyre grip.

Lee continued: “Taking on Monaco is always a test of your skills and now we have added the ability to take to these iconic streets at night in both modern day and classic F1 cars. We think our fans are going to love it.”
In addition to the 20 official circuits from the current season, and Monaco at night, players can also take on four brand new short circuits at Britain, Bahrain, USA and a soon to be announced track.
