IO INTERACTIVE UNVEILS HITMAN ABSOLUTION
The fifth game in the multi-million selling franchise showcasing IO’s new Glacier 2 game engine
IO Interactive A/S, part of Square Enix Europe, is pleased to confirm HITMAN ABSOLUTION™, a new game for Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, and Windows PC.
HITMAN ABSOLUTION follows Agent 47®, a cold blooded assassin, who takes on his most dangerous contract to date. Betrayed by those he trusted and hunted by the police, he finds himself at the centre of a dark conspiracy and must embark on a personal journey through a corrupt and twisted world, in his search for the truth.
“For the first time we are taking Agent 47 on a personal journey which allows us to explore other parts of the HITMAN® fantasy, ” said Tore Blystad, game director, IO Interactive. “This is both a familiar and yet significantly different experience to any of the other Hitman games, something our silent assassins will relish as well as those who are new to the Hitman world.”
Showcasing IO Interactive’s new proprietary Glacier 2TM technology, the game has been built from the ground up, boasting a cinematic story, distinctive art direction and highly original game design, HITMAN ABSOLUTION combines much loved classic gameplay with completely new gameplay features for the Hitman franchise.
Scheduled for release in 2012, HITMAN ABSOLUTION will be showcased by invitation only at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles, California from June 7-9.

Football fever hits GAME & gamestation for FIFA 12 midnight launchesFans will get their hands on the latest EA Sports blockbuster at GAME and gamestation stores on 30 th September 2011
To mark the release of one of the biggest football games of the year, FIFA 12 , 243 GAME and 165 gamestation stores* across the country will be opening their doors at 12am on 30 th September.
Opening ahead of general release (the morning of 29 th September), GAME and gamestation are giving FIFA fans the chance to buy the game first and get playing hours ahead of everyone else.
GAME’s flagship store on Oxford Street will be hosting the official UK midnight launch, where the first person to buy the new release will net a brand new LG 3D LED Monitor TV.
GAME will be giving away three more of LG’s new 3D LED Monitor TVs at the Oxford Street GAME store as Londoners wait eagerly to make their purchase and hit the virtual pitch as popular stars such as Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney and Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere.
Anna-Marie Mason, marketing director at GAME and gamestation said: “With over 400 stores opening at midnight to celebrate the launch of FIFA 12, we’re kitting up for an evening of football fun across the country. Nordic Games Publishing has today revealed the full tracklist for the upcoming release of We Sing Rock! for Wii™, showcasing an all time classic array of sing-a-long rock anthems.Over the last week the first 15 rocking tracks were revealed on the We Sing Facebook page (
The full rock star tracklist includes 40 top tracks in the definitive rock themed singing game on Wii™, including songs from some of the world’s biggest rock acts including, Coldplay, Alice Cooper, Kasabian, My Chemical Romance and the king himself, Elvis! – all of which have received international acclaim. The songs span five decades of classic rock music, ensuring there’s something for all fans to rock out to.
“We Sing Rock! boasts 40 of the best rock tunes from the last 50 years – it has all the rock tracks you’ve always wanted on a video game,” says Nik Blower, sales and marketing director, Nordic Games. “All We Sing games have had an enviable tracklist; it’s the part of each game we spend the most time researching but even by our standards We Sing Rock! is a bit special.”

Fun for all the family, We Sing is the only singing series of games to support four players in any Party mode, using four separate microphones. Party mode includes We Sing, Versus, Group Battle, Pass The Mic, First to X, Marathon, Blind and Expert.
There’s also Solo mode and Karaoke mode, which strips the track of vocals to really challenge players, or those that fancy an authentic karaoke experience.
Other features include Singing Lessons to help singers fine tune their voices and a Jukebox to queue up songs like their own personal music channel.
In-game awards come from playing either single or multiplayer modes, adding further depth and replay value to We Sing Rock!. Plus, once a track has been sung, players can replay performances and add cool effects to their voice.
More points come thanks to Star Notes which provides extra points for hitting hard notes and Player Statistics give a detailed breakdown on performance on notes hit and missed with a comment on your performance at the end.

Batman The Joker Trailer Revealed
Among the cadre of villains that Batman has faced, The Joker stands as one the Dark Knight’s arch-nemesis. With his elaborate schemes and capacity for violence, the Clown Prince of Crime has demonstrated a knack for creating deadly mayhem in Gotham, and now that threat has come to the dangerous streets of Arkham City.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today released the new trailer for Batman: Arkham City showcasing The Joker and his crew of deadly henchmen.
Batman: Arkham City will be available beginning Oct. 21 in the UK for Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system. The PC version will be available in November.
