Mass Effect 2 - New video
NEW SUSPECTS REVEALED IN RED JOHNSON’S CHRONICLES
A corpse has been found in Metropolis City. Finding suspects and possible motivations won’t be the hard part. But sometimes, murders are more complex than what first appears. This won’t stop Red Johnson, who is no rookie nor one of those crook private investigators who thrive in the most violent town in the country.
As Red, a private eye, you will have to investigate a crime that could have been committed by almost anyone in Metropolis City. Finding suspects won’t be that tough as the victim seems to be the most hatred man in town. The player’s job is to gather clues, find witnesses and make them cough up the goods. Lure them, threaten them, do whatever it takes but make them talk. With this information and pieces of physical evidence you will gather, nail the real murderer and put him away for good.
In Red Johnson’s Chronicles you will meet many characters, such as Theresa and Sonia. Theresa is to grace and human warmth what Adolf is to tolerance and democracy. In short, she’s the perfect wife for an absent husband. And what a piece of luck, her husband is out for quite some time… This middle aged woman is quite a character; she may well know something about this murder.
Sonia may not speak with the most eloquent manner, but those who know her well will tell you she is some kind of an artist. And art does matter in her job, the oldest in the world. This beautiful young woman could have seen something.
Red Johnson’s Chronicles is the next Lexis Numérique’s game and will be released for PlayStation®Network by the end of April.

In Battlefield 3, players step into the role of the elite U.S. Marines. As the first boots on the ground, players will experience heart-pounding missions across diverse locations including Paris, Tehran and New York. As a U.S. Marine in the field, periods of tension and anticipation are punctuated by moments of complete chaos. As bullets whiz by, as walls crumble, as explosions force players to the ground, the battlefield feels more alive and interactive than ever before.
Battlefield 3 leaps ahead of its time with the power of Frostbite 2,DICE’s new cutting-edge game engine. This state-of-the-art technology is the foundation on which Battlefield 3 is built, delivering enhanced visual quality, a grand sense of scale, massive destruction, dynamic audio and character animation utilizing ANT technology from the latest EA SPORTS™ games. The experience doesn’t stop with the engine – it just starts there. In single-player, multiplayer and co-op,Battlefield 3 is a near-future war game depicting international conflicts spanning land, sea and air. Players are dropped into the heart of the combat whether it occurs on dense city streets where they must fight in close quarters or in wide open rural locations that require long range tactics.

“We wanted to create the most immersive and emotionally powerfulBattlefield game ever and we needed new technology to deliver on our vision,” said Patrick Bach, Executive Producer. “Battlefield 3 preserves the franchise’s signature sandbox style and even brings back classic fan favourites like jets, going prone and 64-player multiplayer on PC.”

More Info about Batman: Arkham City
Some of you have asked about further information on the new Batman: Arkham City - well, over on the Batman Community webpage http://www.batmanarkhamcity.com/uk/main.html Sefton Hill, Rocksteady's game director has given an interview which details just that.
After you've read Sefton's note below you may want to head on over and join the community yourself.
Hi all,
Batman: Arkham City's story mode was designed to be story driven while remaining open world as we felt there was a really interesting space in between the two types of play. There is a main storyline (don't worry – no spoilers here!) which will take around 12-15 hours to complete, but this is less than half of the game.
In addition to this there are the new Arkham City Missions. These tell the story of what happens when Gotham’s most notorious super villains are locked up together. These run concurrently to the main story and can be tackled whenever you find them in the city streets. Some of my favourite moments are in these missions, including tracking down a deranged serial killer, solving a murder mystery, forming an alliance with a one-time villain and confronting the Riddler as he attempts to prove once and for all he is better than Batman.
We've probably spent as much time creating the Arkham City Missions, and bringing the world to life, as we have on the main storyline and I think the choice of what to solve and where to go at any time gives the game a unique feeling.
Then of course there are the riddles and secrets to solve. We’ve had great fun adding these to streets of Arkham City. Our goal was always to create the most interesting and richly detailed open world game ever, and these make it rewarding to explore every square inch of the city. And Riddler has definitely raised his game this time. It won’t just be a simple case of finding the secrets. Nearly every secret requires you to use your gadgets in inventive and interesting ways.
Completing all of these will take around another 12-15 hours of play bringing the story mode time up to around 25-30 hours.
All that and I haven't even got on to the new, upgraded challenge mode…
We're currently all working like crazy to polish Arkham City as much as possible and I can't wait until you all get to play it.
Speak to you soon,
Sefton

Powermat and DSi wireless charger
The Powermat products enable you to wirelessly charge multiple devices by simply, either placing the device on the Powermat or, connecting the device to a Powercube which lays on the Powermat.
I was kindly sent the Powermat 2x Mat with Powercube and the new back for wirelessly charging the Nintendo DSi.
The Powermat 2x comes in some well thought out and nicely designed packaging. The box firstly contains your Powermat and its power supply - yes it does have to be mains powered. While the Powermat team have provided you with a universal power plug - I have to say it's massive and one hell of a chunky unit. That said once it's plugged in the wall it's forgotten about.
A neat secondary box, which is rolled up and fastened by velcro pads so no tearing the box open, sits underneath the Powermat and inside this are several add ons. Firstly there is the Powercube which can then connect to one of the multiple ends to suit your device (it contains an end for Sony, Micro USB, Mini USB, Apple and more). It also contains what looks like is a second Powercube but it's just a neat storage box for your connectors.
Anyway, that's the basic Powermat and you can find out more about it on www.powermateu.com
Onto the new Nintendo DSi back. This came in separate box as it's purchased separately but again the packaging is well designed and stylish.
It's an unusually shaped snap on back with the wireless receiver in the centre. It has a connector at the top which once the back is clipped onto your DSi this slots into the powerslot of your DSi.
So there is was ready to be charged - I made sure the DSi was dead before testing the Powermat out. I simply laid the DSi onto the Powermat and with a slight magnetic pull it slid into the correctly aligned position for charging this was confirmed by a quick tech sound and a light appearing on the side of the Powermat where the DSi was resting.
After a couple of hours the DSi was fully charged - this is about the same time as it takes to charge when connected via wire so that was a bonus for the Powermat - for some reason I thought it would be slightly longer.
Since then I have charged my Apple iPod Touch several times - by using the Power cube and connector - although backs are available on line for Apple devices and also my Samsung Genio Slide handset. I'm travelling abroad next month so will take the mat and see how it handles the US voltage.
For more information about the mats, the adaptors and the available backs for various devices check out the Powermat website.
If you have multiple devices at home and multiple chargers then it would definitely be worth investing in a Powermat. Prices range from £29.99 to £69.99

Pokemon Black / White
The three starter Pokémon, Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott, will eventually evolve into Servine, Pignite, and Dewott when they reach a high enough level.
Until then enjoy
One For All -SmartControl with PS3 adaptor
and of course your PS3.
The firmware is fully upgradeable via a dedicated microsite:
http://www.oneforall.com/smartps3adapter/
As the PS3 adaptor is battery powered and wireless you don’t have to plug anything into one of the valuable USB slots on your system. Again according to the press release with regular use two AA batteries should last about 6-9 months, although you can plug the adaptor into the PS3 to conserve battery power via USB.
