UBISOFT UNVEILS JUST DANCE FOR KIDS


UBISOFT® UNVEILS JUST DANCE® KIDS, A DANCE GAME CREATED ESPECIALLY FOR CHILDREN

     
Today, Ubisoft ®  announced the forthcoming release of Just Dance® Kids on the Wii™ system from Nintendo, Kinect™ for Xbox 360®and the PlayStation®Move for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system. Developed especially for young kids by Land Ho!, Just Dance Kids will feature 40 songs, including today’s hottest hits, as well as popular songs from kids’ favourite TV shows and movies and mixes of classic kids songs in several languages. In addition, the game includes Just Dance Kids also contains all-new features exclusive to each platform and will be released in the UK on November 4, 2011.

“Just Dance Kids provides kids from 4 to 8 years old with exciting new features on top of the elements that have made the Just Dance franchise a success,” said Geoffroy Sardin, EMEA VP Marketing and Sales at Ubisoft. “Just Dance Kids is a must-have family title. It will get kids active and moving while bringing the entire family together, laughing and dancing in their living rooms.”

Created with kids in mind, the game boasts colourful and lively graphics, fun dance moves and easy-to-follow kid-friendly gameplay. The choreography will have players dancing to covers of such hits as “Burnin’ Up,” “Barbara Ann,” “Shake Your Groove Thing,” and the online hit, “I Am A Gummy Bear (The Gummy Bear Song).” such as “Love Me,” “Whip My Hair,” “Just The Way You Are,” like “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes” and “The Hokey Cokey” in several languages.

Just Dance Kids takes full advantage of each motion control platform, providing unique features and experiences for the player. The Kinect for Xbox 360 version of Just Dance Kids will allow kids to play without using a controller, star in their own music videos and create and save their own dance routines to challenge friends and family members. With the PlayStation Move, kids have the ability to capture their dance moves with the PlayStation ® Eye, which snaps photos of players while dancing. In addition, kids can select their favourite song medleys. The Wii version of Just Dance Kids features a brand-new multiplayer mode called Balloon Pop, which lets kids shake their Wii Remote™ controllers to earn more points and have more fun while dancing. All three platforms offer a game feature called Nonstop Shuffle, where players can play the game for designated periods of time of 15, 30, 60 or 120 minutes without having to push any buttons or navigate through menus for non-stop play.
