Mad Catz^® Named As CES Innovations 2012 Design And Engineering Award Honoree

Four Products from Mad Catz Product Range Impress CES Innovations Judges

 Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. (“Mad Catz”) (AMEX/TSX: MCZ) announced today that it has been named an International CES Innovations 2012 Design and Engineering Awards Honoree, receiving four nominations across multiple brands.

Products nominated are the TRITTON^™ Xbox 360^® Warhead 7.1 Wireless Surround Headset, the Mad Catz Major League Gaming^® (MLG) Pro Circuit Controller, the Cyborg^™ R.A.T.⁷ Albino Gaming Mouse and the new Cyborg M.M.O.⁷ Gaming Mouse.

Nominated products are judged by a panel of independent industrial designers, engineers and members of the media and honor outstanding design and engineering in consumer electronics products across 32 product categories.

Nominated products will be displayed at the 2012 International CES, which runs January 10-13, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada and at CES Unveiled: the Official Press Event of the International CES from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday, January 8 in the Venetian Ballroom of the Venetian.
