8Realms is a browser-based real time strategy game. Your role is to guide your civilisation through eight ages of history by gathering materials, upgrading your buildings, researching new technologies, training your armies and battling for victory.

As your empire evolves from cavemen with tools of stone to spacemen with laser guns and spaceships, you will be battling with other players to make sure you build the biggest and best settlement, collect the most wonders and claim the best resources to snatch victory.

It doesn’t have to be a race to the finish though; the game is designed to suit individual’s most desired play style and level of commitment. If is it war you crave or peaceful trading and building; the game allows players to involve themselves in the action however they see fit from extended play sessions to quick blasts.

The game is designed to be accessible and playable on almost any internet enabled device and the game is the same whatever you play it on, making it a fully immersive and deep game that is ultimately totally portable. Play it at home, on the way to work, at work, the possibilities are endless.

8 Realms has a very cute and friendly cartoon style and growing your empire from a few wooden shacks to glorious futuristic buildings is fun and highly addictive. The tutorials and user interface makes understanding the way you level up through the game easy and is designed to be quirky and entertaining.

Addictive – The Game has a daily reward system, which scales rewards with each consecutive day of play.

Competitive – 8Realms is guaranteed to bring out your competitive side, whether you’re competing against the top player in the game, the empire next to yours, or the rest of your office.

Socially Integrated – The game is fully integrated with Facebook, allowing you to compete against your friends and family.

Portable – The game is accessible on almost any internet enabled device, allowing you to carry your empire around in your pocket, and fend off barbarian attacks whilst waiting in line to buy your milk.

It’s not pay to win – Although there is a cash shop which allows you to purchase certain time, resource and military boosts, you can’t buy your way to victory.

Although 8Realms may feel like a race to the end, the choices that you make whilst making your way though the game will affect your high score.  This means that the first person to complete the future age is not necessarily the winner of the game. It’s all about the strategy.

Continuous play  - We’re keeping the end game under wraps at the moment, however once you have reached the pinnacle of the future age, the game won’t end there.  There will be new challenges to discover and new enemies to face. Who will get there first?
