Today, we’re pleased to share some news with you about Xbox One following an announcement by Yusuf Mehdi, vice president of marketing, strategy and business at Xbox.

·         Xbox One will be available on 22^nd November 2013, in all 13 of our initial launch markets – including the UK

·         This week, Xbox One began full production in our preparation for launch: a product culminating from many years of listening to you, our fans, developing innovative technology, and working with the best game and entertainment partners in the industry has brought us to this point.

·         Xbox One pre-orders have sold out at many retailers, putting us on track for the biggest Xbox launch ever, and we’ve worked hard to ensure an additional supply of Xbox One Day One consoles are now available for pre-order via our retail partners.

·         Our development teams have increased the CPU from 1.6GHZ to 1.75GHZ, roughly a 10 percent increase in CPU performance. This is in addition to the 6% increase we previously announced for the GPU a few weeks ago. The result is that Xbox One will have that much more power for developers to make their games and entertainment really shine.
