April Top Gear Car Pack comes to Forza Horizon
Six-car pack features models selected by Top Gear team and Forza developers

The April Top Gear Car Pack launches today for “Forza Horizon”, featuring six new cars specifically selected by the Top Gear Magazine team and Turn 10 Studios’ developers, as well as two car models appearing for the first time: the 2012 Bowler EXR S and the 2011 Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale Zagato. Included in the pack for free for all “Forza Horizon” fans is the ultra-rare 2002 BMW M3-GTR.

The April Top Gear Car Pack is available to download now on Xbox LIVE for 400 Microsoft Points. Players who own the “Forza Horizon” Season Pass will be able to download the April Top Gear Car Pack for no additional cost.

The April Top Gear Car Pack includes:

·         2011 Ford Transit SuperSportVan – The SuperSportVan is the latest creation in a long-standing series of Ford-built custom transit vans dating back to 1971. The 2011 Ford Transit SuperSportvan dons Le Mans bonnet stripes and an eye-catching livery on the outside. Inside is the 3.2-liter, 198-horsepower engine taken from the much larger Transit Jumbo. What’s the point? It’s a one-off design to show that Ford engineers can have fun too, and it was unveiled at the 2011 Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham, U.K. It also presents a vast canvas for designs and further customisation for “Forza Horizon” fans.

·         1998 Mercedes-Benz AMG Mercedes CLK GTR – Only a street car in the loosest sense of the word, the CLK-GTR is nearly identical to its pure racing counterpart, which dominated the GT1 class at Le Mans so thoroughly that after a few wins no competitor wished to challenge it. Buying a CLK-GTR to use for lightning-quick grocery runs is a questionable plan, but for dominating your friends in Horizon’s Colorado, there are few street-licensable cars that can keep up, putting these drivers in a very exclusive club.

·         2012 Aston Martin Vanquish – With styling nods to previous Astons and a welcomed upgrade in the engine department, the new Vanquish retains much of the familiar Aston Martin grace, while still receiving a much needed boost in performance. Its 565-horsepower V12 produces a pleasing growl and will zip the car past nearly everyone else on the highway, all while you bask in the Vanquish’s considerable interior creature comforts.

·         2012 Bowler EXR S – The Bowler EXR S is the result of the 2012 brand partnership between Land Rover and U.K.-based rally raid manufacturer Bowler. The striking all-terrain vehicle is fitted with a modified version of the Range Rover Sport’s supercharged 5.0-litre V8, and produces 550 bhp, giving it a top speed of more than 150 mph. The first Bowler designed for road use, the EXR S is equally at home in the deepest parts of Horizon’s back roads.

·         2011 Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale Zagato – Combine traditional Alfa elegance with 600 horsepower of pure Dodge fury and what do you get? The 2011 Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale Zagato. This street-legal sports car features an 8.4-litre V10 and the kind of gorgeous curves you’d expect from Italian design center Zagato. In short, this one’s as easy on the eyes and as it is fun on the road.

·         2002 BMW M3-GTR (FREE Download) – The 2002 BMW M3-GTR is synonymous with rarity. As BMW puts it, “The GTRs (both race and street copies) were never sold to anyone. Only three street copies were built. Not all three were ever shown. A street copy was shown in the U.S. only once, and for less than an hour.” Little wonder, then, that this M3 is bound to be a prize for “Forza Horizon” players.

Where Cars Belong: “Forza Horizon” is available now on Xbox LIVE Marketplace and anywhere games are sold. Car packs are available individually or as part of the “Forza Horizon” Season Pass (4,000 Microsoft Points), which also includes the Rally Expansion Pack. The game is rated PEGI 12.

http://media.rockstargames.com/rockstargames/img/global/news/upload/actual_1363900508.jpg
This week, look for the collection of downloadable Rockstar classics on PSN to be expanded with Toni Cipriani's and Vic Vance's chapters in the Grand Theft Auto saga - Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories. LCS and VCS now join other Rockstar titles from the PS2 era in the PlayStation 2 Classics series that can be downloaded and played on PS3s.

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories
The streets of Liberty City are in turmoil. Warring mafiosi vie for control as the town begins to self-destruct under waves of political corruption, organized crime, drug trafficking and union strikes. No one can be trusted as Toni tries to clean up the mess of the city's chaotic underworld. Deranged hit men, morally depraved tycoons, cynical politicians and his own mother stand in his way as Toni tries to bring the city under Leone control.

Forced to fight for his life in an odyssey that will shake Liberty City to its foundations, Toni must use any means necessary to secure his place in the leadership of the Leone family in a town up for grabs.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories
Vice City, 1984. Opportunity abounds in a city emerging from the swamps, its growth fueled by the violent power struggle in a lucrative drugs trade. Construction is everywhere as a shining metropolis rises from foundations of crime and betrayal.

As a soldier, Vic Vance has always protected his dysfunctional family, his country, himself. One bad decision later and that job is about to get much harder. Kicked out onto the streets of a city torn between glamour and gluttony, Vic is faced with a stark choice - build an empire or be crushed.

This pair of tales from Liberty City circa '98 and Vice City circa '84 respectively will be available for $9.99 / €9.99 / £7.99 each.

Also recently released and now available from the PlayStation Store are the first two entries in the open-world street racing series Midnight Club. One of the original PS2 launch titles, Midnight Club: Street Racing features open city racing across NYC and London, while Midnight Club II lets you compete across LA, Paris, and Tokyo. PS3 players can also get the latest entry in the Midnight Club series - Midnight Club: Los Angeles - as a full game digital download on PSN.

BioShock Infinite, by guest reviewer Iain Fisher

I am always very conscious of games that have been labeled "multi-award winning" and are advertised more than three times every hour as game of the year, as more often than not this is a bigger lie than Kim Kardashian’s chest originality.

In the case of the BioShock’s games , I was an avid fan of the first one, which in my honest opinion I considered to be a pioneer in the FPS range of gaming with its original approach, strong story line and it never took away from the game play or the story with lack luster graphics and over promised ‘game play’. I was impressed with is atmospheric zones and seamless links between levels, the AI and interaction with characters was brilliant and the choice making which, even if it seems pointless at the time, had a massive impact on the ending you received. It was these choices that encouraged you to replay the game over for a second or third time, each time selecting a different choice and adding diversity to your game play style.

So with that in mind I just couldn’t wait to play BioShock Infinite. This game will be game of the year or I’ll eat my Nan, a bold statement from a reviewer who hates the dead horse flogging that seems to be going on with excessive sequels in the gaming world. I was blown away from the off, I was so immersed in the atmosphere of the floating city and the 1912 feel to the sprites design and the city setup. The music and lighting adds to the feel that you are there, at one point I’m pretty sure I could smell candy floss and hotdog.

I'm usually a bit ‘gung ho’ the first time of playing, getting weapons and upgrading them to the hilt and killing everyone who gives me the time of day. The second and third time, I then tend to be a bit of a detective picking up all things I can, holding back my red death rampage urges and sparing the lives of the idiots I once before enjoyed spraying their inners up a beautifully designed wall. BTW in this sequel the only issue is it takes a while before the proverbial hits the fan and you have to then start to kick some ass.

The story is around you, Booker DeWitt, saving a girl, Elizabeth, who has an ability. I'm going to be very vague as I don't want to give anything way so I’ll leave the plot out a bit, to be quick though, you’re in debt and need to get to a floating city to get Elizabeth, send her to New York to pay off said debt then life is happy....easy right? What’s the worst that could happen?

The graphics are simply breath taking, from the posters to the walk ways and everything in between they’re brilliantly and painstakingly detailed, even the grass looks amazing instead of looking like someone has spilt green paint on the floor, the roller coaster style thing you use as transport makes you dizzy like a roller coaster, and the air is fresh, I can smell it!

The weapons are just brilliant and as before adaptable and upgradable, the new magic powers are fantastic, the only problem is that you do get most of them quite quickly and with little resistance, but never the less they all have outstanding ways of destroying the enemy.  The cut scenes explaining them are Monty Python designed which is brilliant.

In summary I have nothing bad to say about this game it needs to be in your life, you don't need to play the first two, but you should because BioShock is to gaming as Alfa Romeos are to petrol head, you are not a purist gamer if you have never played BioShock (My opinion only of course!).

Oh I forgot to mention, as this game is set in 1912, it has the social expediencies of that era, so if you are offended by things of this nature the game is not for you. However everything is done in relative good taste. One last line - I enjoyed every second of this game and will never trade in.
