MAMA CAMPS OUT AND ENTERS A NEW DIMENSION ON HANDHELDS TODAY WITH THE ARRIVAL OF TWO NEW COOKING MAMA RELEASES

505 Games, an international publisher of video games, today announced that evergreen favourite children’s character, Cooking Mama, returns in two new video game releases available today: Cooking Mama 4 on Nintendo 3DS and Cooking Mama World: Outdoor Adventures on Nintendo DS.

For the first time ever, players can have fun with Mama in 3D. Cooking Mama 4for Nintendo’s 3DS handheld system uses the 3D functionality of the platform in moderation, providing a visual reward to players for tasks completed within the game. In this way, fans of all ages can enjoy the latest Mama offering and the amazing 3D benefits of Nintendo’s new system. The game also takes advantage of many of the unique features of the Nintendo 3DS, including the wireless function, enabling up to 4 players to play simultaneously.

Cooking Mama 4 has over 200 new culinary minigames and players can also now get domesticated and help Mama in a selection of household based activities, such as doing the washing up or taking out the rubbish. Players can also customize Mama’s outfit, accessories and even their own kitchen appliances.

Meanwhile, outside of the kitchen and on Nintendo DS, Mama and her family are in adventurous spirits with Cooking Mama World: Outdoor Adventures. Mama, Papa, Ichigo and Ringo have gone camping! Explore Adventure Island in over 100 mini-games over 38 stages with various traps, quests and treasure to find. Collect fish, animals and all manner of creepy-crawlies to complete the family camping picture book and become queen of the great outdoors.
