Guardians of Middle-earth Announces New DLC Character - Elrond
Elrond, the mighty leader of Rivendell and father to Arwen, joins the battle as the newest playable Guardian in Guardians of Middle-earth. Elrond DLC will be available on PlayStation Network and on Xbox LIVE Arcade.
Elrond’s exceptional battle skills were showcased during the end of the Second Age, when the Last Alliance of Elves and Men set out to Mordor to fight in the Battle of Dagorlad, where they ultimately defeated Sauron.

In Guardians of Middle-earth, gamers team up as the most powerful heroes from the greatest fantasy epic of all time, bringing up to 10 players together in a competitive multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game. Featuring select characters from the film, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, the game allows players to develop and master more than 20 iconic characters. Play as Gandalf, Gollum, Legolas, Sauron and more, forming memorable and unlikely alliances with and against friends. Gamers can connect with other players via an in-game voice communication system, as well as access to a comprehensive online stat and leader board system where they can track friends’ victories and defeats, and more. Now available at select retail stores for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and via download for Xbox LIVE Arcade for Xbox 360 and PlayStation Network.

Elrond’s Bio:
As the Half-elven Ruler of Rivendell, Elrond is a mighty leader
and the brother to Elros, the first King of Númenor. During the end of the
Second Age, his exceptional skills were put to use when the Last Alliance of
Elves and Men set out from Rivendell for Mordor where they fought in the Battle
of Dagorlad and eventually defeated Sauron. He would later welcome both Bilbo
and Frodo to Rivendell during the War of the Ring.
Elrond’s Gameplay Abilities:
Call of Rivendell: Increases movement and attack speeds, damage
Elven Grace: Damages enemies and give stealth to allies
Take Refuge: Area effect increases health and resistances
Honored Guard: Summons an archer to damage and slow enemies
