Painkiller Hell & Damnation Collector’s and Standard Editions revealed

Nordic Games adds explosive bonus content for outstanding value in time for a hellish Halloween, dates console versions


The gates of the eternal reigning fire will be opened for Windows PC on the 31st October when Nordic Games unleashes Painkiller Hell & Damnation in its uncut version. The PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft uncut versions, and Windows PC cut versions will be available on the 22nd January 2013.

The eagerly awaited Painkiller Hell & Damnation will be available as both a Standard Edition and Collector’s Edition for Windows PC only, priced £17.99 and £24.99 respectively. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 editions will be available priced £24.99.

The Collector’s Edition will include stickers, postcards from hell, ten tracks from the heavy metal soundtrack, a making of DVD, in-game tarot card for Single Player Power-Up and an exclusive multiplayer skin. The high value package will also comprise of all the material from the Standard Edition including game disc and A3 size poster.

Developed by Polish studio The Farm 51 and powered by Epic’s world-renowned and highly-respected Unreal Engine 3, Painkiller Hell & Damnation recreates the sensations and hardcore gameplay of the original Painkiller, in stunning and painstakingly redrawn high definition.

Originally released in 2004, Painkiller won high praise and many accolades and fans for its fast and unique gameplay. Keeping true to the old-school FPS ideology, lightning-fast movement enables skilful players to get into the heart of the fast-paced gameplay, topped off with stunning enormo-boss fights requiring sneaky tactics.
