Guardians of Middle-earth Announces New DLC Character – Unglob and Map Skin


Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Monolith Productions today release the newest DLC character, powerful spider Unglob, and a three-lane Mirkwood map skin forGuardians of Middle-earth. Gamers can download and play as Unglob on Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network.

Similar to the powerful spider Shelob, Unglob is a monstrous creature who is on a path to become an immensely powerful spider and is fiercely aggressive by nature.

In addition, gamers can play on the three-lane map with the new Mirkwood map skin, which lands players into the dark and foreboding forest.

WBIE and Monolith also released new character art, bio, ability details and a new video about playing as Unglob, whose abilities include a bite, which stuns and damages enemies.

In  Guardians of Middle-earth, gamers team up as the most powerful heroes from the greatest fantasy epic of all time, bringing up to 10 players together in a competitive multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game.  Featuring select characters from the film,  The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, the game allows players to develop and master more than 20 iconic characters. Play as Gandalf, Gollum, Legolas, Sauron and more, forming memorable and unlikely alliances with and against friends. Gamers can connect with other players via an in-game voice communication system, as well as access to a comprehensive online stat and leader board system where they can track friends’ victories and defeats, and more.
