Are you Geoff Hurst? 66% off at GAME!

·         GAME celebrates the summer of football with the world’s most famous footballing names in-store
·         Discounts available to Edison, Franz, Diego, Zinedine, Geoff Hurst and their namesakes
·         Anyone called Geoff Hurst gets 66% off at GAME

Such is the excitement around this summer’s biggest football tournament that GAME, the UK’s leading videogames retailer, has announced plans to celebrate with some of its most famous names.

Anyone who can produce proof of I.D of themselves or an accompanying friend named Edison (Pele - 1970), Franz (Beckenbauer -1974), Diego (Maradona - 1986) or Zinedine (Zidane -1998) will be entitled to a 14% discount on EA SPORTS 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil.

And to mark the glorious hat-trick in the 1966 Wembley final, anyone named Geoff Hurst will get an incredible 66% off their copy of the game.

Ailsa McKnight, Marketing Director GAME, commented: “To celebrate the summer of football we had the idea to do something with the most famous names in-store. As getting them together proved to be too much of a challenge, we are doing the next best thing by rewarding the namesakes who turn-up in their place.

“So if you, or someone you know, has spent a lifetime as Geoff Hurst or Zinedine with all the wisecracks but without any of the glory, this is your chance to get something back!”

The ‘Legends’ reward promotion begins on June 4th  and runs for 10 days until England’s first match on Saturday June 14th.
