Beat the Horde with the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller – Gears of War 4 Limited Edition

Gears of War fans, get ready! To help celebrate the beginning of a brand new Gears saga with the October 11 launch of Gears of War 4, we are thrilled to announce the new Xbox Elite Wireless Controller – Gears of War 4 Limited Edition

In collaboration with The Coalition, the development studio dedicated to Gears of War, we designed a professional-grade controller inspired by Gears of War 4. Production of the controller is highly limited, and only a small number of units will be available. The controller features the same customization and flexibility as the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller, with thousands of hardware configurations to choose from, and interchangeable thumb sticks, D-pads, and paddles to customize the controller for any gaming scenario on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.
The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller – Gears of War 4 Limited Edition features intricate Gears of War 4 design elements throughout its body, interchangeable pieces, and a custom carrying case. Drawing inspiration from the mysterious and terrifying new enemies of Gears of War 4, the controller features laser-etched claw marks and a gritty, battle-weathered design, telling the survival story of a confrontation with the Swarm.

The front of the controller features a large black Crimson Omen symbol and a D-Pad marked with the Gears default weapon loadout icons: the grenades, the Snub Pistol, the Lancer, and the Gnasher. The back has the Phoenix Omen insignia on the battery door, and custom-marked metallic red paddles. Fans will also get a matching carrying case with a printed silhouette of the new Lancer from Gears of War 4, and matching red USB cable. Also included is a unique multiplayer lobby emblem exclusive to this controller, and three Gear Packs for special in-game items which are redeemable in Gears of War 4.
The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller – Gears of War 4 Limited Edition will be available for pre-order in extremely limited quantities at Microsoft Stores starting today, and at participating retailers this week for $199.99 U.S. MSRP. Shipping will begin in early October, just in time for the Gears of War 4 launch, and will be available in the following select markets: U.S., Canada, U.K., France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Australia and New Zealand.
