Battle Mini Game Coming to Console Edition in June!

Team Minecraft at Mojang, 4J Studios and Microsoft is excited to share some cool new content for “Minecraft: Console Edition”, as we’ll officially be releasing mini games via a free update this June.

Coming up with improvised rules and new ways to play with friends is already a popular activity among “Minecraft: Console Edition” players – and long may it continue! But with our new mini games, we'll be helping you quickly and easily jump into competitions with tailor-made rule sets, so you can have fun straight away without having to fuss around with manual count-downs, laboriously prep loot chests or keep score.

The first mini game we’ll be rolling out is called Battle, which will include three maps, and will allow you to set up a competitive multiplayer fight for survival, where speed, strategy, and sometimes pure luck will make you the winner. Players in Battle matches use randomly-generated resources found in chests placed in specially-designed PVP maps and combat one another in a free-for-all death match until the final victor is determined. The fun isn’t over after you are defeated though, as fallen players can spectate the match by flying freely around each arena as a bat.

Battle matches can be played with up to four players in split-screen and up to eight players online via Xbox Live. You can also find other community members to join your game via an in-game matchmaking system.

LEGO® Star Wars™: The Force Awakens Season Pass Details Announced

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today announced further details on theLEGO® Star Wars™: The Force Awakens Season Pass, which grants players access to a variety of downloadable content (DLC), including new game levels and story-driven content, as well as additional characters from across the Star Wars ™ galaxy.

The Season Pass features three brand new Level Packs that extend the LEGO®Star Wars™: The Force Awakens adventure with exciting new content not seen in the movie. Each add-on pack will allow players to experience key events from the film in different ways, including Poe Dameron’s journey back to the Resistance base after crash landing on Jakku, the assault on Maz Kanata’s castle through the eyes of Kylo Ren and the collapse of Starkiller Base from the perspective of two Resistance pilots. The Season Pass will also include five Character Packs featuring well-known Star Wars™ heroes, villains and Droids.

The LEGO Star Wars ™: The Force Awakens Season Pass will be available for £7.99 on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Steam (Windows PC). Players can also purchase each DLC Pack individually for £1.70 for Character & Vehicle Packs and £2.50 for Level Packs. As an added bonus, Season Pass holders will gain exclusive access to The Jedi Character Pack, which will be available at launch onJune 28, 2016. Poe’s Quest for Survival Level Pack

HITMAN Episode 3: Marrakesh Launches next week on May 31

Lo-Interactive is delighted to announce that the launch date for HITMAN Episode 3: Marrakesh will be on May 31, 2016.

The mission titled: ‘A Gilded Cage’ enlists Agent 47 to take out two targets, private investment banker Claus Strandberg and Army General Reza Zaydan.

In a city teaming with life on the brink of a full-scale riot, these are the moments before a coup d’état, where the visible military presence exacerbates a situation where tensions are running high.  

Bustling Berber markets, alleyways crammed with stalls and shops, a clinical Swedish consulate and shaded rooftop terraces are just some of the areas that players can explore in Marrakesh.

HITMAN Episode 3: Marrakesh will present players with a range of new in-game Challenges and Opportunities that will keep them busy along with an entirely new setting for Escalation Contracts and Elusive Targets.

HITMAN started with a Prologue and Paris location in March, Episode 2: Sapienza in April and now Episode 3: Marrakesh on May 31. From here HITMAN will deliver regular content updates, including three additional locations; Thailand, the United States and the season finale in Japan later in 2016.

Episode 3: Marrakesh is FREE as part of the Full Experience Pack. Owners of the Intro Pack can choose either the Upgrade Pack for $50, which will then include all of this year’s content as it’s released including  live and bonus content - or choose to purchase the location individually for $10 (or local equivalent).

HITMAN is available on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and Windows PC.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Character Spotlight Series Continues with Finn Vignette

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today released the next video in a series ofLEGO®  Star Wars™: The Force Awakens character vignettes spotlighting Finn, one of the newest heroes to join the Resistance in the fight against the First Order. The video showcases Finn’s LEGO ® character in full form through key gameplay moments, cinematic cutscenes and authentic audio lines, all with signature LEGO ®humour. The vignette also features original dialogue recorded by actor John Boyega, who plays the role of Finn in the Star Wars ™: The Force Awakens film.
