Bulletstorm 1st Thoughts

Afternoon everybody! Well here we are once again. This short but sweet post is to give you my ‘1^st Thoughts’ for Bulletstorm on the PS3.

From the opening sequence this game delivers graphics that are simply amazing! 

The fine details, of not only the game play zone but the surroundings are something else! Well done to Epic and the ‘People Can Fly’ team for the art work involved in the making of the game.

Moving onto the game itself, it’s got great movement controls, easy to follow yet intense game play for those new to shoot’em up's! It’s not the regular point and shoot kills that get you the max points and trophies, it’s the special ‘skilled’ moves.  There’s a selection of ‘skilled’ kill requirements that gain you mega points and enable you to complete more of the game - skill kills such as:

-         Kill an enemy by shooting him in the ass

-         Kill an enemy by kicking him in the air and blowing his head off

-         Kill an enemy by kicking him into electric cables

You get the point! Something to make you smile while being responsible for someone’s gruesome death!

Reloading weapons is done by finding drop boxes and buying ammo, or taking a weapon from a kill.  There’s a slide and reload move which is something you don’t see in other games which makes this game even more attractive. :)

I’m sure there are many more things to discover within this game and I’ll make sure I inform you of them in a more detailed final review in due course.

So the conclusion of the ‘1^st Thoughts’ is it's a must buy game if your into your Gears of War type of shooter! Until the next time lock 'n' load!
