And here's one for all the family to getting 'jamming' with!

With the announcement that Guitar Hero is 'dead' this latest game for the Wii - which doesn't require purchasing peripherals that clog up your room, could be set to 'Rock the House'

UK gets ready to rock-out and ‘Shake It’

Use only your Wii Remote & Nunchuk to jam with friends with Musiic Party: Rock the House

Today, Musiic Party: Rock the House, for the Nintendo Wii™ is available to pre-order ahead of its hotly anticipated UK debut on 29th April 2011.

All wannabe rock stars can jam with their friends following the UK launch of Musiic Party: Rock the House without the need for additional peripherals. Featuring some of the greatest rock anthems and modern classics of all time, including Motorhead’s ‘Ace of Spades’ and Metro Station’s ‘Shake It’ you can strum the guitar or bass, or bang the drums by simply moving the Wii Remote & Nunchuk in time with the music. (And don’t worry lads; this is one wrist action your Mum can’t tell you off for...)

Developed by Independent Arts and published by dtp entertainment, Musiic Party: Rock the House combines the popular rhythm motion game play, cartoon style graphics, pumping bass lines and slick riffs with the motion based functionality and simplicity of the Wii platform to create a frenetic and entertaining gaming experience. With two kick-ass multi-player game modes you can jam with your friends or take them on in a head-to-head battle. Dare to go solo? With the story mode you can rise to the challenge of becoming your very own rock legend.

Rob Noble, from UK distributor PQube, commented “Musiic Party simplifies how we play rhythm games. Armed with nothing more than your trusty Wii Remote & Nunchuk, you and your friends can rock your socks off to Blink 182’s ‘All The Small Things’, marking a fantastic addition to the music-party game genre.”

Musiic Party: Rock the house is now available for Pre-order. Check-outwww.musiicparty.co.uk for more details.
