Jessie J, Coldplay and Peter Andre join The Village People
Eight new We Sing Pop! tracks unveiled on the We Sing Facebook page
Nordic Games has today unveiled the latest songs on the We Sing Pop! tracklist, available exclusively on the Wii from the 23rd March 2012.

Taken from Coldplay’s second album, the 16th song to be revealed on the We Sing Pop! tracklist is Clocks. The song has been widely sampled by artists including David Guetta, Brandy, Royksopp and Agnes due to its infectious piano riff which won the band Record of the Year at the 2004 Grammy Awards.
Nobody’s perfect by Jessie J was released in May 2011 and was Jessie’s third top ten single after making an impact on the charts with her debut solo album Who You Are. The song is about struggling with past indiscretions and the internal fight that being a perfectionist can bring.
Considered one of Nelly Furtado’s signature songs, I’m Like a Bird is featured was the first single to be released from her first album, reaching the top 10 in the UK, USA, Australia and Canada. In 2001 the song won a Grammy Award for Song of the Year and the Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, this hadn’t been done by a debut female artist since Mariah Carey 10 years earlier.
Mysterious Girl by Peter Andre feat. Bubbler Ranx was a favourite with teenage girls up and down the country in the 90s. First released in the UK in 1996, the song peaked in the charts at number 2. It then hit the top spot when it was re-released in 2004 after Andre made an appearance in the UK reality series I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of here.
Singer song writing duo Sonny and Cher were number one in the US and UK charts with their song I’ve Got You Babe which is now featured on the Rolling Stones 500 Greatest Songs list. It’s sure to be a hit with those who like teaming up as a duet.
YMCA by the Village People is a disco favourite and resonates with people of all ages. First released in 1978 the song reached number 1 in the UK and has sold over 10 million copies worldwide. The popular track even has its own dance moves to accompany the chorus.
Released in 2010, The Club Can’t Handle Me by Flo Rida feat. David Guetta was the lead track on the hip hop dance film Step Up 3D soundtrack. A number one song in the UK, it remains a popular club anthem.
“When compiling our wishlist of songs we wanted for We Sing Pop!, we were keen to we included some songs that all the family can enjoy together,” says Nik Blower, Sales and Marketing Director, Nordic Games. “There are some signature songs on here that will definitely trigger off some happy memories. We cannot wait to unveil the full tracklist next week.”
