I've got a piece of news that I wanted to share with you from Tommy Tallarico, the legendary video game music composer and performer behind the Video Games Live world touring concerts.
He's just confirmed that Blizzard Entertainment are working together with Tommy to create an exclusive orchestral piece of music from Diablo III for the planned Video Games Live: Level 3 album project. Video Games Live recently unveiled this to the world in Irvine, California, with a live performance from the Pacific Symphony conducted by Elmear Noone (Blizzard and Legend of Zelda Symphony conductor).
To listen to a one minute sampling from the never before heard or released Diablo III arrangement called 'Leah' (the final version will be over 4 mins) click here:
Tommy Tallarico said:
"As you may be aware already, Blizzard donated a tour and lunch at Blizzard Entertainment as part of the higher tiers for our Video Games Live: Level 3 Kickstarter campaign. This is something that Blizzard typicallynever does and only a few 'outsiders' have ever entered the production lair of one of the biggest and most popular game developers in the world!"
