Alfred rolls his sleeves up to help launch Batman: Arkham City

Batman’s tireless butler, the ever trusty Alfred Pennyworth, will be taking a break from overseeing the operations of the caped crusader to launch his own search engine this month.

The world famous butler will offer his services online from today as part of the promotional campaign for the launch of the new Xbox 360 gameBatman: Arkham City which hits stores from 21^st October.

Heading to dedicated URL www.alfredatyourservice.co.uk takes players to a fully functioning search engine with a twist, hosted by Batman’s ever dependable butler.  Specific search terms will return exclusive pieces of content including screenshots, audio files and even the chance to own win a limited edition Xbox 360 console.

Keywords will be hidden throughout the marketing campaign for the game and site creators Weapon7 have developed cryptic clues the dastardly Joker would be proud of, calling on Batman fans to interact, explore and unearth exclusive content.  Try searching “Batman” or “Arkham City” for a taste of what to expect.

Ever inventive, Alfred will also be embracing the power of social media to leak clues via @arkhamcitynews, as well as making appearances on Xbox’s Facebook channels and games forums to interact with fans.  Xbox Facebook pages will allow fans to pick up on clues to unlock even more exclusive content.
