“Halo 4” Spartan Ops: Episode Five Trailer Debuts on Halo Waypoint

  

This weekend 343 Industries unveiled the new “Halo 4” Spartan Ops: Episode Five trailer.  Spartan Ops: Episode Five, including an all-new CG cinematic and five new gameplay chapters, will is available on XBOX Live from today.

Synopsis: Secrets are revealed, trusts betrayed, and the Sangheili leader Jul ‘Mdama’s ultimate plan nears success. As Infinity’s command crew makes a discovery that changes everything we thought we knew about the Forerunner Prometheans, the Spartans must attempt to rescue one of their own. 

     A first for the “Halo” franchise, Spartan Ops is a story-driven, episodic co-op adventure that blends immersive storytelling, high-quality cinematics and action-packed gameplay to deliver an unprecedented serialised experience. 

Through a weekly series of cinematic episodes, Spartan Ops tells the continuing story of the UNSC Infinity, following the events of “Halo 4.” These episodes center on the UNSC Infinity leaders and crew as well as a new team of Spartans — Fireteam Majestic – as they explore the corners of Requiem in objective-based missions and help uncover the secrets of the mysterious Forerunner world.
