NEW SKULLGIRLS TRAILER GIVES SNEAK PEAK AT STORY MODE
Ladies and Gentlemen, it's showtime!

A new trailer for Skullgirls, the upcoming downloadable 2D fighting game from Autumn Games, is available today. Offering a sneak peak at the Story Mode, the trailer provides a glimpse of the seven announced playable characters and elements of how they fit into the game’s backstory.

The world of Skullgirls is vast and full of colourful personas, well beyond the eight playable female warriors that will be available at launch. Additional friends and foes will show up throughout the playable characters’ stories, which are told with a series of short vignettes, showcasing more than 200 pieces of unique art and new music.

While there is a “true,” canonical story kicking around in creative director Alex Ahad’s head, the Story Mode shows a number of “what if” scenarios playing out across alternate timelines. The characters are authentic to themselves in these altered circumstances, but events unfold differently in each scene.

In addition to the deep Story Mode, Skullgirls is packed with a variety of other features, including:

• Arcade Mode
● Robust tutorials
● Practice Room
● Ranked and unranked Online Play
● Custom soundtrack
