Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition – Sound Effects Behind the Scenes

In Batman: Arkham City, players were drawn into the elaborate and engrossing world of the Dark Knight, and the reality of that universe depends on a talented team of foley artists and sound designers to bring it to life. In anticipation of the September 7th release of Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition, this new video released by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment goes behind-the-scenes with professional insights from Game Director Sefton Hill of Rocksteady and foley artist John Roesch (The Dark Knight,The MatrixInceptionFight Club). Viewers get a chance to head into the studio where skilled foley artists create the sound of beating up Mister Freeze, and go out to the world famous Warner Bros. Studio to capture the sound of live gunfire in an urban environment reminiscent of the streets of Arkham City. The video will help players prepare for the release of Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition, out on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on the 7th September in the UK.

Newcomers to last year’s Dark Knight adventure will be able to pick up Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition on the 7th September in the UK, which includes all previous downloadable content (Catwoman PackNightwing Bundle PackRobin Bundle Pack, Challenge Map Pack and Arkham City Skins Pack) plus Harley Quinn’s Revenge Pack. Featuring an incredible Rogues Gallery of Gotham City’s most dangerous criminals including Catwoman, The Joker, The Riddler, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, The Penguin, Mr. Freeze and many others, the game allows players to genuinely experience what it feels like to be The Dark Knight delivering justice on the streets of Gotham City.
