Well as promised here's the conclusion for Batman: Arkham City.

It's an awesome game and well worth the outlay.  I know many games are about the online or downloadable content and yes there is an large element of that to this. But for those of you who aren't yet connected then this game is still a MUST HAVE!

The storyline game play is great - as Batman you get to meet all the old cronies who have made your life what it is today! Joker, Penguin, Riddler and all their henchman. Alongside this are many side missions where you meet many more villains and save innocents. Whether it's stopping violent acts, saving Arkham from nuclear poisoning or searching for a night stalker they're all their for you.

Finding the 400 Riddler trophies is no mean feat,  it's incredibly hard in fact, you have to put all your skills to the test and have to use your brain a lot too. It's worth mentioning that you can't complete the Riddler side missions without finding all the trophies. You only get the frequency codes to Riddler's hostages when you reach milestones of trophies.

If you are online you can enhance the gameplay through playing the Catwoman missions - which has a storyline of its own, 40 Riddler trophies and a couple of side missions.  You also have the new Nightwing DLC (which I'll post about later on as I'm just about to start this).

Once you've completed both Batman and Catwoman story mode you can interchange characters throughout the map so that you can collect the Riddler trophies etc.

This truly is the game of the year - yes I know Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 are both out there, but for me I would choose Batman Arkham City over these any day at present.  Massive well done to the team at RockSteady Studios for creating a fantastic game. Let's hope this isn't the end - let's see a third instalment please!
