Your Rise to Power!

Ascend to the top with the Highlord system.

Just a few weeks after the release of the fantasy MMORPG Dragon’s Prophet, Skyhammer Warriors and fantasy fans can already expect the next major update. With today’s patch, Berlin publisher Infernum is bringing the next phase of the eagerly anticipated Frontier System to the European servers. After being victorious in a territory war, appointed lords can actively rule over the Sky Islands they have conquered. Each island will begin to have a life of its own as players alter taxation, initiate special quests and erect huge defensive structures in preparation for an impending attack from rival alliances.

The latest Frontier update, the Highlord System, raises the stakes of every territory war. The winning alliance will be granted command over their island and will gain several advantages over would-be invaders. With the help of a special NPC, the Territory Development Adviser, the alliance leader can initiate quests on the island for the collection of required resources or the defense of strategic locations. Someone has to pay for these upgrades, so it’s also up to the Highlord to set the taxation level of their island, in order to finance the defenses. How far will Highlords go to protect what is theirs?

Each Sky Island has four possible status levels:

1. Standby:
The crystal tower is functional and can be attacked to initiate a territory war.
2. Preparation:
The crystal tower has been destroyed. The territory war will begin the following day at 8pm.
3. War:
The territory war lasts two hours, or until one alliance reaches the required number of points.
4. Peace:
The island prepares for the next territory war whilst rebuilding the crystal tower.
