Urgent Fury Announces the Call of Duty Aftermath League

Urgent Fury Aftermath is a Monthly League for Call of Duty Black Ops 2^® hosted Exclusively on PlayStation^®3
Simpsonville, SC: Urgent Fury presents Urgent Fury Aftermath.  Aftermath is a Call of Duty Black Ops 2® tournament league designed to give teams an enhanced experience competing online in
 a cheat free and respectful environment. Each team will battle it out online in six versus six matches, preparing their teams for an upcoming Scenario Based TacMap Tournament to be held later this winter. Prizes and additional sponsors will be announced at a later date.
To be eligible to compete in the Scenario Based TacMap Tournament, a team must complete at least one of the monthly Aftermath events. Each match will have scheduled maps and modes assigned so that players can experience the variety of features offered by the Black Ops 2® online multiplayer environment. These matches are played at 9 pm central standard time on select weeknights. Schedules and Additional information can be found on the tournament atwww.urgentfury.com.

Utilizing the new eSports features provided by Treyarch you can experience the action in Aftermath live on Urgent Fury’s Twitch.tv Channel www.twitch.tv/urgentfury. Each night we will broadcast one or two of the matches with full commentary by Shane Bell, Community Manager and CIO of Urgent Fury. Call of Duty Black Ops 2® has taken the bull by the horns by providing the new CODCasting feature directly in the game to all players.
Aftermath serves as a pre-qualification for teams to gain the eligibility to compete in the soon to be announced invitation only TacMap tournament to begin in February 2013. The TacMap tournament is based on the classic board game Risk®, where teams compete for multiple weeks attacking and defending to take over all of the territories of a designated map while using online game play instead of dice.
