gamescom 2014: strong brands participating

•             Confirmation of countless renowned companies from home and abroad

When the gamescom 2014 opens its doors from 13 to 17 August to visitors from all over the globe, one thing is sure: The offer at the world’s largest event for interactive entertainment will once again be unique. Countless international market leaders and further famous companies have announced their participation at the gamescom 2014 during the initial registration phase already.

Among others, the following suppliers of digital games and consoles have already secured their space in the Cologne exhibition halls: Aerosoft, ak tronic, astragon, Bethesda, CD Projekt red, Crytek, Deep Silver/Koch Media, Electronic Arts, Konami, Kalypso Media, Microsoft, Nintendo, rondomedia and Ubisoft. The online browser and mobile games sector will also be prominently represented at the fair. Among others, Bigpoint, Gaijin, Goodgame, Riot Games, Wargaming and Turtle Entertainment are on board. Furthermore, Bigben Interactive, Caseking, epay, G.A.M.E.  

Bundesverband, Gaya, Marketpoint, NVIDIA, Oculus Rift and ROCCAT, to name but a few, will be using the gamescom 2014 as a platform to present themselves to the visitors. In comparison to last year's early booking phase, by the deadline around 50 percent more exhibitors had already confirmed their participation at the gamescom 2014 (status as of 17.02.2014).  

And that isn't all: The gamescom is also well on target in terms of internationality: According to the status in February, the organisers had received registrations from 26 countries (by the deadline and compared to last year). The joint country stands have also met with great interest. 13 groups from ten countries, including China, France, Great Britain, Iran, Korea, Mexico, Sweden, Spain, Taiwan and the USA will be represented at the gamescom with a joint stand. Further joint stands are currently being planned.

As such, in 2014 the gamescom is once again underlining its worldwide unique position as the leading trade fair for digital games, which equally addresses both the consumers and trade visitors. At the gamescom, the consumers will have the opportunity for the first time in the world to try out gaming novelties directly. At the same time, the gamescom offers the trade audience the world's largest business area for interactive entertainment software.
