The World Cyber Games sponsored by Samsung is calling for the UK’s ultimate gamers to compete at the open qualifiers at Eurogamer between the 22nd and 25th September.
Eurogamer Expo hosts the console leg of the worldwide tournament, featuring beat ‘em up favourite Tekken 6, and the PC final of FIFA 11. The Eurogamer Expo is being held at Earls Court, London and is the last chance for the best of the UK gamers to claim their place as one of the team representing the UK at the European finals in Warsaw and the opportunity to travel to Korea for the World Final.
Qualifiers are taking place throughout the duration of the Expo and gamers can visit the Samsung stand to get gameplay ready and to see the range of Samsung products including Samsung’s 7 and 8 Series televisions, which deliver outstanding 2D and 3D pictures and are optimised for gaming; 3D gaming notebooks; Series 9 and Series 7 HDTV LED Monitors which combine cutting-edge design, 3D gaming and HDTV; Mobile devices such as the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy SII plus a vast number of games.
Open to everyone, the FIFA 11 and Tekken 6 finals will take place at the close of the Eurogamer Expo on 25th September. The full tournament schedule is as follows:
