Gears of War 3 fan receives a hair raising experience at gamestation
Today saw the launch of Gears of War 3, and to celebrate, gamestation’s flagship store in Birmingham put Gears of War fans’ dedication to the test with a really close shave of an experience.
20-year-old Aleem Ahmed, from Aston, Birmingham proved himself to be the ultimate Gears of Wars fan and rose to the challenge by being the first in line to get the Gears of War 3 skull icon shaved into his head by an on-site ‘extreme’ barber.
Aleem, was the first of ten Gears of Wars fans to get their heads shaved with the Gears of War skull icon and were each rewarded for their commitment to the series by winning a free copy of Gears of War 3 – not to mention a unique hair style!
Aleem said; “The Gears of War series is awesome and I couldn’t wait to get a copy of Gears of War 3 today even if that meant getting a close shave! Not sure what my mum will think of my new hair but I know my mates will love it .’’
